w/ Jørgen Leth & Reverse – SOLD OUT!

Modern jazz group, Reverse, will play an improvised concert with poetry readings by the legendary poet, film maker, writer, jazz fan, cycling commentator – Jørgen Leth (Site / Blog). At the equally legendary Copenhagen JazzHouse.

This concert was arranged within hours of the first encounter between Leth & Reverse in April 2013 at JazzHouse, which provided a sold out JazzHouse with two sets of intense improvisation.

Two separate projects presenting exploratory reading of Ecclesiastes and Songs of Songs - two of the canonical Wisdom Books in the Old Testament.

Musical dialogue with Lindhart and the work itself, providing an abstract & provocative commentary.

Analogue synthesizers, sampling, electronically manipulated acoustic grand piano, composition & improvisation.

ALTING HAR EN TID toured Denmark in 2018 & 2019. HØJSANGEN has since 2020 been presented at churches, museums and venues around the country.
