The modern jazz group ‘Reverse’ of which Søren Gemmer has been a long-time member has engaged in a collaboration with legendary poet, film maker, writer, jazz fan/critic, cycling commentator – Jørgen Leth (Site / Blog).
The group improvises freely along with the poetry readings of Leth, who is excited to be joining a young and talent jazz group. So far Jørgen Leth & Reverse has played at the Copenhagen Jazzhouse and Atlas, part of Voxhall in Aarhus. Both concerts were sold out, and April 26th, 2014 has been booked for another show at the Jazzhouse.
Danish music magazine Gaffa, has provided a review of the Atlas concert along with an interview, in which Jørgen Leth mentions the collaboration with high praisings of Reverse.
