w/ the Danish Radio Big Band & Palle Mikkelborg feat. Marilyn Mazur & Helen Davies

SG will be joining the DRBB for a second collaboration between the ensemble and Palle Mikkelborg. The concert will see Gemmer participating not only as part of the DRBB, but also featured alongside Mikkelborg on a raft of synthesizers, creating electronic soundscape and providing heated improvised arguments. A Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2016 highlight set besides the Danish National Theater’s beautiful ‘Skuespilhuset’.

Two separate projects presenting exploratory reading of Ecclesiastes and Songs of Songs - two of the canonical Wisdom Books in the Old Testament.

Musical dialogue with Lindhart and the work itself, providing an abstract & provocative commentary.

Analogue synthesizers, sampling, electronically manipulated acoustic grand piano, composition & improvisation.

ALTING HAR EN TID toured Denmark in 2018 & 2019. HØJSANGEN has since 2020 been presented at churches, museums and venues around the country.
