w/ SRM // Somebody’s Quartet

Svein Rikard Mathisen released his debut album ‘Copenhagen Diaries’ in 2015 and reviewers took note of his distinct compositional style and accomplished playing. SG will be part of ‘Somebody’s Quartet’ for a tour of Norway with stints in CPH, Malmö and Berlin from 19th-27th of October, 2017, alongside drummer Andreas Fryland and Swedish bass ace Paul Hinz.

Two separate projects presenting exploratory reading of Ecclesiastes and Songs of Songs - two of the canonical Wisdom Books in the Old Testament.

Musical dialogue with Lindhart and the work itself, providing an abstract & provocative commentary.

Analogue synthesizers, sampling, electronically manipulated acoustic grand piano, composition & improvisation.

ALTING HAR EN TID toured Denmark in 2018 & 2019. HØJSANGEN has since 2020 been presented at churches, museums and venues around the country.
