Surf jazz group ‘Surf In Stereo’ has released the first three-song EP in a series of three that are to be released during the next six months.
The music is available for streaming and download from surfinstereo.com and features the new wurlitzer and synthesizer-infused sound that Søren Gemmer has provided. The three songs released are; the highly energetic ‘Mojn’, ‘The Late Mr. Timbuktu’ and the beautiful post-rockish ‘The Brain That Wouldn’t Die’. The songs are all composed by guitarist Kasper Ejlerskov Leonhardt, who has also compiled two wonderful videos by scouring the archives of public domain footage from ancient sci-fi movies:
